This four day Residential will provide an opportunity for you to engage in live inquiry and teaching in a small group setting, and to practice and discuss salient responses to participants’ experiences and questions. The Residential will give you an opportunity to build your confidence and finding your own voice as a teacher, and learn about your own habits of relating, leading to more flexibility and aliveness in your responding in the classes. We will also explore structures of power and issues of access and inclusivity in mindfulness teaching

Refund Policy

A 90% refund will be issued if cancellation is received up to two months before the event.
A 50% refund will be issued up to one month before the event.
However, in either of those two circumstances, if a substitute person can be found so that MTI is not impacted financially there will be a full refund less 10% admin fee.
No refunds will be issued after 1 November, 2023 except in extenuating circumstances.
Notice of cancellation must be provided to MTI via email and will be confirmed via reply email. MTI cannot accept responsibility for correspondence that is delayed or for failure of delivery.
In the unlikely event the retreat is cancelled by the organisers, registration fees will be fully refunded. No liability will be accepted for travel, accommodation or other costs / expenses incurred by participants.

How to get to the venue

Driving: Here is a link to Google Maps Hartzer Park.
Train: the nearest station is Bowral Station and then it's a short cab ride to Hartzer Park. Here is a link to Sydney Trains.
Car Pooling: Caroline will be helping to organise some car-pooling and will be sending an email out with details for those people looking for a lift. Do be in touch with if you can offer a lift or are looking for a lift.
Airport Arrivals and Departures - MTIA organises a bus to pick up interstate/international people from Sydney airport and return them to Sydney airport on the last day of Residential. Please book flights to be available to catch the bus at 11.30 am on Friday 1st December 2023. On Monday 4th December, 2023, the bus will leave Hartzer Park at 12:30 pm and arrive at the airport by 2:00 pm, so please book return flights from 3.30 pm (4.30 pm for international flights). Please check with your airline to make sure you have enough time to board.
