Openground Gravel Path With Setting Sun

Lynette McCormack

Registered
Dr. Lyn is an accredited, practising dietitian (APD), registered Mindfulness-Based
Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher, and a certified mindful eating facilitator with 18
years of experience supporting women to cultivate healthier eating habits, calm,
confidence, and connection in their lives.
Her unique approach blends evidence-based nutrition with mindfulness practices,
trauma-sensitive care, and compassion-based mentoring. Dr. Lyn holds a PhD in
the relationship between temperament and uncontrolled eating behaviour — a
perspective that brings depth and understanding to her work with unhealthy
habits of overeating, stress, anxiety, and undermining self-judgment and self-
doubt.
As an MBSR teacher, Dr. Lyn creates a warm, welcoming environment where
women can pause, breathe, and reconnect with their body’s inner wisdom. Her
work honours the inherent strength in each of us, offering a calm, steady presence
that guides women beyond restrictive rules and into a more peaceful, sustainable
relationship with themselves.
Dr. Lyn’s mission is simple: to help women 40+ improve their health, feel at home
in their bodies, confident in their choices, and connected to the deeper calm and
quiet wisdom that’s always within reach.

Registered teachers have taught at least three rounds of the program and have completed basic requirements of the Level I and Level II MTI training pathway, but are not yet certified.

Certified teachers are given certification when they have taught many rounds of the course, attended several silent retreats and their teaching has been rigorously assessed using video/audio submissions.
