Openground Gravel Path With Setting Sun

Eve Rudkin

Eve is passionate about teaching mindfulness. She has experienced the profound transformation that a daily mindfulness practice can bring. She knows that mindfulness can offer freedom from being tied to unhelpful ways of living.

It can be a huge support as we navigate the inevitable challenges of life, while nourishing us, and adding richness to our lives.

Interest in mindfulness led her to study psychology to honours level, with an interest in mindfulness. Her research was published in the academic journal “Mindfulness”. She takes part in ongoing professional development including regular supervision from Dianne May, senior teacher and mental health professional.

Her background also includes raising children, working in a variety of jobs, and serving as a telephone counsellor for Lifeline.

Eve teaches Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) courses in Auckland.

Registered teachers have taught at least three rounds of the program and have completed basic requirements of the Level I and Level II MTI training pathway, but are not yet certified.

Certified teachers are given certification when they have taught many rounds of the course, attended several silent retreats and their teaching has been rigorously assessed using video/audio submissions.
