Eve is passionate about teaching mindfulness. She was introduced to mindfulness meditation seven years ago, and experienced the profound transformation that a daily mindfulness practice can bring. She knows that mindfulness can offer freedom from being tied to unhelpful ways of living.
It can be a huge support as we navigate the inevitable challenges of life, while nourishing us, and adding richness to our lives.
Interest in mindfulness led her to study psychology to honours level, with an interest in mindfulness. Her research was published in the academic journal “Mindfulness”. She takes part in ongoing professional development including regular supervision from Dianne May, senior teacher and mental health professional.
Her background also includes raising children, working in a variety of jobs, and serving as a telephone counsellor for Lifeline.
Eve teaches Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) courses in Auckland.
