Radical Dharma

Radical Dharma by Rev angel Kyodo williams, Lama Rod Owens and Jasmine Syedullah ignite a conversation about racial injustice, white body supremacy, and queer voices and how it plays out in society as well as in Buddhist communities. While the focus will be on their experiences as they took a tour around the USA to spark conversations around these issue, we’ll be exploring parallels in our own living environment (country).  Join us for what is sure to be conversations of learning together and what actions we might take to help the healing.  As the authors say, there is no liberation until we are all liberated.  In the spirit of the bodhisattva, you’re invited to join this club for the liberation of all beings.

I don’t like to read books on meditation even though I know I should and I know they are helpful. So I forced myself (with kindness and compassion) to join the MTI book club to help break through.

And I read the book (all of it). And I sat with others and asked questions and had many of them answered. And I learnt a lot of helpful things about mindfulness that is helping my practice and helping me to help others.

So while I still don’t like reading books on meditation the book club helps.
